Fiadh Nic Aoibhinn Kearns, MSc., M.I.A.C.P, she,her (What's this?)

Fiadh is our founder therapist. Fiadh has 30 years experience as a therapist, having worked in community, and as a Family Therapist in  psychiatric service.

Her passion is building confidence in new parents to maximise bonding with baby where there is anxiety, fright, fear,  where birth trauma or past trauma in parents interferes with the desire to bond.

Therapeutic Approach: Eclectic, Adlerian, Integrative, Family Therapy, Systemic, Play Therapy

Fiadh is a member of Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and World Association of Infant Mental Health

Qualifications:

Dip in Counselling & Psychotherapy; MSc in Psychology; Bachelor Business Studies; Dip in Counselling Competence; Adv. Dip in Clinical Supervision; Diploma Primary School Teaching

Additional Training:

Adv. Diploma Adlerian Supervision, Brief Parent-Child Early Relational Assessment Model U.S.A, International Training School for Infancy and Early Years (ITSIEY), Anna Freud Centre, and Zero to Three Diagnostic Training U.S.A,

International Teaching:

Fiadh has taught at International Adlerian Therapy Summer and Winter Schools (ICASSI) over many years on parent infant attachment and bonding.
