Together we play, sit, wonder and reflect with baby in mind
Sitting together on floor with your infant we explore the moment to moment interactions and the feelings they arouse in you and the baby's response to you. It is gentle, warm, supportive, non-judgemental and most of all encouraging and empowering.
Sessions last 30 to 40 minutes depending on age
infants and parent(s) together 30 minutes (age zero to 18 months)
toddlers and parent(s) together 40 minutes (age 18 months to 24 months)
Children 2 - 6 and parent(s) 40 minutes
Sometimes fear or anxiety arises in parent or infant. We work on responding to such moments together and scaffolding and supporting response to such moments. It takes time to develop a 'good enough' secure attachment.
Fiadh developed an approach called C.A.R.E. To Be H.E.L.D. that she has used in her work with infants and parents and delivered workshops and internationally to teach the approach.
